Wood Pulp Rolling Papers
Wood Pulp Rolling Papers
Wood pulp rolling papers are the heart of the Monkey King range: natural wood fibre leaves sealed with 100% natural Arabic gum, made in Spain. You will find them in every size from Regular 70 to King Size Slim and 4m rolls, in papers only, papers with tips, scented smell papers and pre-rolled cones. Choose your size, then your colour.
Choosing your wood pulp papers
Papers by size
Rolling Papers: King Size Slim gives you 32 ultra thin 14gsm leaves at 108mm x 44mm. Rolling Papers: Medium 1 1/4 holds 50 leaves at 76mm x 44mm for a shorter roll. Rolling Papers: Regular 70 is the smallest at 68mm x 36mm, with 60 leaves per booklet. For a length you set yourself, Rolling Papers: 4m Rolls give you one continuous 4m x 44mm leaf to cut to size.
Extreme thin papers
Want less paper around your roll? Expert Stoners Rolling Papers: King Size (Extreme Thin) drops to 12.5gsm, with 32 king size slim leaves at 108mm x 44mm in Hemp, Orange, Pink, Red, Unbleached, White and Yellow colours.
Papers with tips
For papers and tips in one booklet, Rolling Papers + Tips: King Size Slim pairs 32 leaves with 32 tips across eleven designs, and Rolling Papers + Tips: Medium 1 1/4 does the same in the shorter size.
Scented smell papers
Smell Papers + Tips are natural wood fibre papers with a scent. Each King Size Slim booklet holds 32 scented 14gsm leaves and 32 card tips behind a scratch and sniff cover, in 14 scents from Mojito and Ice Peach to Cola and Monkeymaster, a herbal liqueur scent. They are scented, not flavoured, so the papers don't taste of the scent. Boxed versions sit in bulk smell papers + tips.
Pre-rolled cones
The Monkey King Pre-Rolled Cones Unbleached - Box of 18 and Monkey King Pre-Rolled Cones Pink - Box of 18 each hold packs of three king size cones with the tip already in, plus a packing tool and rolling tray.
Colours and finishes
Wood fibre paper takes colour well. Depending on the size, you can choose white, unbleached, pink, blue, green, rainbow or a hemp-coloured leaf, with natural vegetable colourants in the coloured options. Unbleached leaves skip colour altogether for a natural brown tone. The hemp shade is a colour on wood fibre paper, not a hemp fibre paper; for those, see our hemp rolling papers.
Wood pulp rolling papers FAQs
What are wood pulp rolling papers?
Wood pulp rolling papers are made from natural wood fibres. At Monkey King they form most of the range, made in Spain and sealed with 100% natural Arabic gum. Our standard leaf is ultra thin at 14gsm, and the Expert Stoners leaf is extreme thin at 12.5gsm, so you can pick how much paper you want.
Are the Hemp options on these papers made from hemp?
No. On King Size Slim, Expert Stoners and 4m rolls, Hemp is a colour choice on a natural wood fibre paper. It gives you the brown hemp look in a wood pulp leaf. If you want papers made from hemp fibre, browse our hemp rolling papers instead.
Are smell papers flavoured?
No. Smell papers are scented only. Rub the booklet and the scent lifts off the cover and leaves, but the papers don't taste of it. They are natural wood fibre papers like the rest of this range. If you want a paper with actual flavour, see our flavoured rolling papers.
Which wood pulp papers are the thinnest?
Expert Stoners Rolling Papers: King Size (Extreme Thin) are the thinnest at 12.5gsm. Our standard King Size Slim leaf is 14gsm, which is already ultra thin. Gsm means grams per square metre, so the lower the number, the lighter the sheet and the less paper sits around your roll.
Can I buy wood pulp papers in bulk?
Yes. Most of our wood pulp booklets also come boxed, so you can save on reordering your favourite size or colour. Browse bulk rolling papers for boxes of papers only, or the bulk smell papers for boxed scented booklets. Try a single booklet first if you are choosing a new size.
