Regular 70
Regular rolling papers are the small classic: a 68mm x 36mm leaf for a short, slim roll that is quick to make. Rolling Papers: Regular 70 holds 60 leaves per booklet, in ultra thin 14gsm paper. Monkey King papers are made in Spain, and this booklet uses wood fibre leaves and a 100% natural Arabic gum line. Choose White (Blue Edition) or Unbleached (Brown Edition).
Why choose small rolling papers
A small leaf uses less paper per roll and makes a neat, narrow result that fits easily in a tin or a pocket. At 36mm wide, a Regular 70 paper is narrower as well as shorter than our other sizes, so it suits rollers who like a slim, compact roll. With 60 leaves in each booklet, it is also the deepest booklet in our loose papers range.
How regular papers roll
Make a small tip, place it at the edge and add a modest amount of mix, then turn the leaf between your fingers until it is firm and even. Because the leaf is short, a tidy tuck and a quick lick of the gum finish it off. Thin 14gsm paper keeps the leaf light and the burn steady. A pack of card filter tips gives you tips that you can trim to the narrower size.
Regular rolling papers FAQs
What size are Regular 70 rolling papers?
Monkey King Regular 70 papers measure 68mm x 36mm. The "70" is the traditional size name for this format rather than an exact length. That makes them shorter and narrower than Medium 1 1/4 papers, which are 76mm x 44mm, and well short of a 108mm King Size Slim leaf.
Are regular size cigarette papers the same as small rolling papers?
Yes, the names describe the same format. Regular, regular size, standard and small rolling papers all usually mean a leaf of around 68mm to 70mm long. Ours are 68mm x 36mm with 60 leaves to a booklet, which is more leaves than any other booklet in our loose papers range. Some people also call them single wide papers.
Should I choose white or unbleached regular papers?
Both share the same size, weight and gum, so it comes down to look and preference. White (Blue Edition) is the clean classic. Unbleached (Brown Edition) keeps the natural brown tone of the fibre. Try one of each and see which you reach for.
Can I buy Regular 70 papers by the box?
Yes. The bulk Regular 70 range sells these booklets boxed, which suits you if regular papers are all you use. The boxed booklets match the singles, so choose your colour here first, white or unbleached, and then stock up once you know which one you reach for most often.
